Being stuck at home for some many months made me do some online shopping (like the majority of us I assume) and my latest acquisition is this vintage lime green blazer from Benetton that I absolutely adore. I’ve been on the hunt for something like this for more than a year and I found this one that is made of great quality and it’s in perfect condition.

Estar encerrada en casa durante varios meses me hizo hacer algunas compras en línea (como la mayoría de nosotros, supongo) y mi última adquisición fue este blazer vintage de Benetton verde lima que adoro. He estado buscando algo como esto durante más de un año y encontré éste que es de gran calidad y está en perfectas condiciones.

Spring may have started in Argentina, but I’m enjoying my last days of being able to wear sweaters (aka some of my favorite things) and on today’s post, I show you a casual and simple look that I’ve been loving. Making peace with the past may seem easy, but it’s not; it takes a lot of internal work and realizations, and I’m lucky enough to have reached this point. It took a long time, but it was worth it. I’ve suffered a lot in my life, especially on my teenage years… my old high school became a place that made me anxious and fearful, even if I was 5 blocks away; I couldn’t handle being close to it.

Hacer las paces con el pasado puede parecer fácil, pero no lo es; requiere de mucho trabajo interno y de realizaciones, y tengo la suerte de haber llegado a este punto. Tomó mucho tiempo, pero valió la pena. One of the color combinations I consider you should try this season is pink and purple; it’s one of my favorites and you can achieve a stylish look without thinking about it too much. One of the easiest ways to implement a color combination is by using the color blocking technique, in which you take complementary or opposite colors from the color wheel and wear them in a solid way (meaning no patterns).

Una de las combinaciones de color que considero que deberías probar esta temporada es la del rosa y morado/ violeta; es una de mis favoritas y podés logar un look elegante sin pensarlo demasiado. Hello sweeties! Long time, no post… it’s been a while since my last blog post and to be honest, I had to take a break because I wasn’t feeling my best. The last two months have been really tough and hard for me, I fell lost, uninspired, extremely sad and I wanted to do absolutely nothing, which also contributed to the fact that I was feeling low, since doing nothing drives me crazy, makes me feel useless.

One of the most “common” questions that people my age get asked is one of those that always makes me uncomfortable to answer because I’m afraid of the reaction of those who asked. People often ask “what do you study?” (of course, assuming the fact that you must be studying and/or working); and the thing is, I don’t study anything at the moment, I don’t go to University because I chose to, but even though I’m happy with my decision, I can’t handle but feel awkward when answering that; I get those looks of “you’re wasting your life” or “you won’t get anywhere”.

Una de las preguntas más “comunes” que se les hace a las personas de mi edad es una de las que siempre me incomoda responder porque tengo miedo de la reacción de quienes preguntaron. La gente a menudo pregunta “¿qué estudias?” (Por supuesto, suponiendo que debes estar estudiando y / o trabajando); y la cuestión es que no estudio nada por el momento, no voy a la universidad porque decidí hacerlo, pero aunque estoy contento con mi decisión, no puedo manejarlo, pero me siento incómodo al responder eso; Me da esa apariencia de “estás desperdiciando tu vida” o “no llegarás a ninguna parte”.

It happens, it’s a part of life. We have to have these not so good moments to think and learn. I’m already working on it to feel a 100% again and start making the content I’m already thinking about.

Últimamente me he sentido sin inspiración y desanimada, desde diciembre del año pasado en realidad… no sé por qué… tal vez sea porque muchas cosas pequeñas se juntan y comienzan a ser demasiado. Sucede, es una parte de la vida. Tenemos que tener estos momentos no tan buenos para pensar y aprender. Ya estoy trabajando en ello para sentirme de nuevo un 100% y comenzar a crear el contenido en el que ya estoy pensando.

Hoy les traigo un outfit que usé para ir al cine el miércoles a ver “Piratas del Caribe: la venganza de Salazar”. Fui con mi mamá, ya que amamos a Johnny Depp y a su personaje, Jack Sparrow. La película nos fascinó, definitivamente se reivindicaron después de la cuarta película de la saga, la cual no fue buena. Me encantó el hecho de que regresaran Orlando Bloom y Keira Knightley, así como también la aparición especial de Paul McCartney. Tiene efectos espectaculares y la verdad que me parece que está muy bien lograda, así que se las recomiendo si quieren reír un rato y volver a ver a los protagonistas originales de la saga.

Today I brought you an outfit that I wore to the cinema when I went with my mom to see “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” last week. We went because we’ve always loved Johnny Depp as well as his character, Jack Sparrow. We loved the movie, they definitely claimed themselves after the fourth movie of the saga, which wasn’t good. I was really happy to see Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley back and the special appearance of Paul McCartney was great too. The special effects were great, and overall is really well done so I recommend you to watch it if you want to have a great time and see the originals characters of the saga.
