When I was a little girl, one things that I’ve always heard was that “wearing denim with denim was unacceptable” and that it was ugly.
Cuando era pequeña, una de las cosas que siempre escuchaba era que “usar denim/ jean con jean era inaceptable” y que era feo.
This red patent trench coat really reminds me of The Nanny (one of the best tv shows of all time tbh) and I’m loving it. That TV show has been a favorite of mine since I was little and it not only makes me laugh, but it inspires me a lot; especially Fran Fine’s style, which is a mixture of mostly 80s and some 90s trends, all with designer pieces.
Este trench de charol rojo realmente me recuerda a The Nanny (uno de los mejores programas de televisión de todos los tiempos) y me encanta. Ese programa ha sido uno de mis favoritos desde pequeña y no sólo logra hacerme reír, sino que me inspira mucho; especialmente el estilo de Fran Fine, que es una mezcla de las tendencias de los 80s y algo de las de los 90s, todas con piezas de diseñador.
I see fashion as something I can play with; I love mixing different styles, silhouettes, textures, etc., and I don’t really identify with one specific style. I see my style as a changing thing, it’s constantly evolving and I wear what I want to. Another thing I love doing is mixing “feminine” and “masculine” pieces but, does clothing have a gender? I think not. Why do we classify them as feminine or masculine? What makes them be that way?
Veo la moda como algo con lo que puedo jugar; Me encanta mezclar diferentes estilos, siluetas, texturas, etc., y realmente no me identifico con un estilo específico. Veo mi estilo como algo cambiante, está en constante evolución y llevo lo que quiero. Otra cosa que me encanta hacer es mezclar piezas “femeninas” y “masculinas”, pero, ¿la ropa tiene un género? Yo creo que no. ¿Por qué clasificamos las prendas como femeninas o masculinas? ¿Qué las hace ser así?
Puffer jackets came back to style two years ago and they seem to go nowhere. When I was younger I didn’t like them, just because the styles available to me back then weren’t as pretty as the ones today (there’s obviously a few not so pretty, but still).

Plaid is one of those things that is always in style, you can dress is up or down; and it can basically be worn with anything (especially if you want to mix prints, choosing plaid is a great option for that).

I’ve been feeling quite uninspired and down lately, since December of last year actually… I don’t know why though… maybe it’s because many small things come together and they start being too much. It happens, it’s a part of life. We have to have these not so good moments to think and learn. I’m already working on it to feel a 100% again and start making the content I’m already thinking about.
