Today’s look has a classic piece that I think we should all have in our wardrobe: a plaid coat. It works for autumn and winter and you can pair it with different pieces to create diverse looks.

How to mix feminine and masculine fashion

I see fashion as something I can play with; I love mixing different styles, silhouettes, textures, etc., and I don’t really identify with one specific style. I see my style as a changing thing, it’s constantly evolving and I wear what I want to. Another thing I love doing is mixing “feminine” and “masculine” pieces but, does clothing have a gender? I think not. Why do we classify them as feminine or masculine? What makes them be that way?

Veo la moda como algo con lo que puedo jugar; Me encanta mezclar diferentes estilos, siluetas, texturas, etc., y realmente no me identifico con un estilo específico. Veo mi estilo como algo cambiante, está en constante evolución y llevo lo que quiero. Otra cosa que me encanta hacer es mezclar piezas “femeninas” y “masculinas”, pero, ¿la ropa tiene un género? Yo creo que no. ¿Por qué clasificamos las prendas como femeninas o masculinas? ¿Qué las hace ser así?

Puffer jackets came back to style two years ago and they seem to go nowhere. When I was younger I didn’t like them, just because the styles available to me back then weren’t as pretty as the ones today (there’s obviously a few not so pretty, but still).

Las camperas Puffer volvieron a estar de moda hace dos años y parecen no ir a ninguna parte. Cuando era más chica no me gustaban, sólo porque los estilos disponibles para mí en aquel entonces no eran tan lindos como los de hoy (obviamente sigue habiendo algunas que son feas).

Plaid is one of those things that is always in style, you can dress is up or down; and it can basically be worn with anything (especially if you want to mix prints, choosing plaid is a great option for that).

El estampado tartán/ a cuadros es una de esas cosas que siempre está de moda, podés vestirlo de manera casual, o bien, más elegante; y básicamente lo podés usar con cualquier cosa (especialmente si querés mezclar estampados, elegir el tartán es una gran opción para eso).
