Hello sweeties! Long time, no post… it’s been a while since my last blog post and to be honest, I had to take a break because I wasn’t feeling my best. The last two months have been really tough and hard for me, I fell lost, uninspired, extremely sad and I wanted to do absolutely nothing, which also contributed to the fact that I was feeling low, since doing nothing drives me crazy, makes me feel useless.
¡Hola dulzuras! Ha pasado un tiempo desde mi última publicación en el blog y, para ser sincera, tuve que tomarme un descanso porque no me sentía bien. Los últimos dos meses han sido realmente duros y difíciles para mí, me sentí perdida, sin inspiración, extremadamente triste y no quise hacer absolutamente nada, lo que también contribuyó al malestar y la depresión, ya que el que no hacer nada me vuelve loca, me hace sentir inútil.
I see fashion as something I can play with; I love mixing different styles, silhouettes, textures, etc., and I don’t really identify with one specific style. I see my style as a changing thing, it’s constantly evolving and I wear what I want to. Another thing I love doing is mixing “feminine” and “masculine” pieces but, does clothing have a gender? I think not. Why do we classify them as feminine or masculine? What makes them be that way?
Veo la moda como algo con lo que puedo jugar; Me encanta mezclar diferentes estilos, siluetas, texturas, etc., y realmente no me identifico con un estilo específico. Veo mi estilo como algo cambiante, está en constante evolución y llevo lo que quiero. Otra cosa que me encanta hacer es mezclar piezas “femeninas” y “masculinas”, pero, ¿la ropa tiene un género? Yo creo que no. ¿Por qué clasificamos las prendas como femeninas o masculinas? ¿Qué las hace ser así?
We’re in the middle of getting into a new season and we are experiencing that weird weather where you don’t know what to wear because the temperature may change in the middle of the day (yes, we all know that feeling)… well, I have the solution for that, and its super easy.
