Spring may have started in Argentina, but I’m enjoying my last days of being able to wear sweaters (aka some of my favorite things) and on today’s post, I show you a casual and simple look that I’ve been loving. Not all stylish outfits need to be extravagant, you can make a really simple look great without trying so hard.
Puede que la primavera haya comenzado en Argentina, pero estoy disfrutando de mis últimos días de poder usar sweaters (una de mis cosas favoritas) y en el post de hoy, decidí mostrarles un look súper casual y simple que estuve amando usar. No todos los outfits deben ser extravagantes, podés hacer que un look realmente simple se vea genial sin esforzarte demasiado.
Making peace with the past may seem easy, but it’s not; it takes a lot of internal work and realizations, and I’m lucky enough to have reached this point. It took a long time, but it was worth it. I’ve suffered a lot in my life, especially on my teenage years… my old high school became a place that made me anxious and fearful, even if I was 5 blocks away; I couldn’t handle being close to it.
Hacer las paces con el pasado puede parecer fácil, pero no lo es; requiere de mucho trabajo interno y de realizaciones, y tengo la suerte de haber llegado a este punto. Tomó mucho tiempo, pero valió la pena. He sufrido mucho en mi vida, especialmente en mi adolescencia… mi colegio secundario se convirtió en un lugar que me inquietaba, me llenaba de ansiedad y miedo, incluso estando a 5 cuadras de distancia; no podía soportar estar cerca de él.
The colder days are back in Argentina and it’s time to layer up again. Although spring just started in the country, the weather has been all over the place, so today’s outfit will be perfect for the colder weather and for transitioning seasons (people on the northern countries, this is a perfect fall look!)
Los días fríos están de regreso en Argentina y es hora de volver a ponerse capas de ropa. Aunque la primavera acaba de comenzar en el país, el clima parece no ponerse de acuerdo, por lo que el outfit de hoy será perfecto para el clima más frío y para la transición de estaciones (¡gente en los países del norte, este es un look de otoño perfecto!)
Spring has arrived to the Southern Hemisphere and the weather has already started to change. Some days feels like summer, others, like we still are on winter; and with some (or maybe too many) rainy days in between, I can definitely say, this is one of the weirdest times of the year. Is that time of the year where every day is a struggle to get dress up due to the temperature changes: you’ll be cold on the mornings and at midday, you’ll be taking off all the layers of clothing you putted on. That’s why on some of my future posts, I’ll be showing outfits more appropiate for the colder weather, while others, like today’s, will be more summery.
La primavera ha llegado al hemisferio sur y el clima ya ha comenzado a cambiar. Algunos días se sienten veraniegos, otros, como si todavía estuviéramos en invierno; y con algunos (o tal vez demasiados) días lluviosos en el medio, definitivamente puedo decir que este es uno de los momentos más extraños del año. Es esa época del año en la que uno no sabe cómo vestirse debido a los cambios de temperatura: sentís frío por las mañanas y al mediodía, te tenés que sacar todas las capas de ropa que te pusiste. Es por eso que algunas de mis futuras publicaciones tendrán outfits más apropiados para el frío, mientras que otros, como el de hoy, serán más veraniegos.

In today’s post, I’m showing you how to master the layering technique in order to be able to wear a summer dress in the fall/ winter. This technique is all about balance; you have to equate the use of a more summery item with the winter appropriate ones so you don’t end up freezing.
