Whether you’re entering spring or autumn, today’s look is a perfect colorful outfit for transitioning into seasons and it features one of my favorite color combinations, lilac and yellow.
Ya sea que estés entrando en la primavera o en el otoño, el look de hoy es un outfit perfecto para la transición entre estaciones y está compuesto por una de mis combinaciones de colores favoritas, lila y amarillo.
Although this outfit is full of color and has a floral print (commonly associated with spring or summer), this look can be worn at any time of the year and especially, for transitioning into a new season, a period notable for its temperature changes during the day and the importance of layering, since you’ll be freezing one minute and after a few hours, you’ll be taking off the layers of clothing and wondering why you put on a long sleeve shirt that day. Here in Argentina we’ll be entering fall and I am more than excited to get my coats, sweaters and boots out!
Aunque este outfit esté lleno de color y tenga un estampado floral (comúnmente asociado con la primavera o el verano), este look puede ser usado en cualquier época del año y sobre todo, para la transición entre estaciones, una época notable por sus cambios de temperatura durante el día, en la que uno se ve forzado a vestirse en capas para cambiar su look de acuerdo a dichos cambios y que al final del día, te deja cuestionando el por qué te emponchaste tanto. ¡Acá en Argentina entraremos en otoño y estoy más que emocionada por sacar mis abrigos, sweaters y botas!

Now, let’s talk a little bit about the day we shot these pics with my mom. I’ve been wanting to take pictures on this particular street for a while, and since it’s closed to traffic, it would be easier for us to take the photos without bothering others; the problem was that the street is behind a goverment building and after we finished the photoshoot, a police man came to us saying we couldn’t take pictures there, which makes no sense because we were literally on the street, open to the public… it was kinda infuriating because we weren’t doing anything wrong and in any other city or country, it wouldn’t be a problem, because we could easily have been tourists, but at least we’ve got some pretty cool photos and after that, we went for an afternoon snack at a local café.
Ahora, hablemos un poco sobre el día en que tomamos estas fotos con mi mamá. Hacía un tiempo que quería hacer fotos en esta calle en particular, y dado que está cerrada al tráfico, pensé que sería más fácil para nosotras sacar las fotos sin molestar a los demás; el problema fue que la calle está detrás de un edificio del gobierno y después de terminar la sesión de fotos, un policía vino a decirnos que no podíamos sacar fotos ahí, lo cual no tiene sentido porque estábamos literalmente en la calle, la vía pública… fue un poco exasperante porque no estábamos haciendo nada malo y en cualquier otra ciudad o país, no sería un problema, porque fácilmente podríamos haber sido turistas; pero al menos logramos sacar unas fotos geniales y después de eso, fuimos a tomar la merienda a un café local.
