Ed Sheeran

La noche del 20 de mayo va a ser una para recordar. Me sentí de una manera en la que no me sentía hace tiempo, la disfruté y no pensé en los problemas.

A pesar del mal clima, el concierto de Ed Sheeran en el Estadio Único de La Plata fue espectacular, como era de esperarse.

Este fue mi segundo concierto de él y cumplió con todas mis expectativas. Cada vez que Ed hablaba, se notaba lo feliz que estaba y eso me hizo sonreír como nunca en un largo tiempo.

El hecho de que cantara como sorpresa “Give me love”, me puso la piel de gallina, ya que es una canción que tiene mucho significado para mí y escucharla en vivo es invaluable.

Nos pidió que cantáramos cada canción, que demostráramos que Argentina era el público más ruidoso y no lo decepcionamos.

Canté y bailé como pude porque estaba congelada por el frío y la lluvia; disfruté el concierto sin tener que preocuparme por sacar fotos o grabar, no llevé ni teléfono celular. Deberían intentarlo, ya que se enfocan en el momento y nada más.

Fui con mi prima, con la que comparto también salidas al cine, y realmente me fascinó compartir esta experiencia con ella (fue quien tomó algunas fotos y videos del concierto)

Hubo dos teloneros, de los cuales sólo escuché unas canciones del segundo, Antonio Lulic, quien le puso mucha onda.

En el repertorio del concierto, el colorado tocó canciones de su nuevo CD, así como también de los anteriores, lo cual me gustó mucho. En las canciones lentas, el estadio se llenaba de luces provenientes de los celulares de la gente: fue mágico.

Abrió el concierto con “Castle on the Hill” y lo cerró con “You need me, I don’t need you”; y entre las canciones que cantó estuvieron “The A Team”, “Happier”, “Shape of You”, “Galway Girl”, “Photograph”, “Bloodstream”, “I See Fire”, “Eraser”, “Don’t”, “Sing”, “Nancy Mulligan”, “Barcelona”, “Dive”, “New Man”, “Perfect”, “Thinking Out Loud” y un cover de “Feeling Good”.

Demás está decir que Ed dejó todo en el escenario (como acostumbra a hacer), lo cual hace totalmente placentera e inolvidable la experiencia.

Espero volver a tener la oportunidad de verlo miles de veces más. ¡Les dejo un beso enorme!

The night of the 20th of May is going to be to remember. I felt like I never felt in a long time, I enjoyed it and I didn’t thought about the problems.

Despite the bad weather, the Ed Sheeran’s concert in the Estadio Único de La Plata was spectacular, like it was to expect.

This was my second time attending to a concert of his and he did accomplish with all my expectatives. Every time that he talked, you can tell he was so happy, and that made me smile like nothing else in a long time.

The fact that he played as a surprise just for us ‘Give me love’ gave me chills, because that song means a lot to me and listen to it live is a life changing experience.

He asked us to sing to every song as loud as we can to show that the public in Argentina was the loudest, and I don’t think we disappointed him.

I did sing and dance as I could because it was freezing and I was wet to; I enjoyed the concert without having to care about taking photos or videos of it, I didn’t even take my cellphone with me. I highly recommend trying this, you just focus on the moment and nothing else matters.

I went with my cousin, and I really loved to share this experience with her (she took some photos and videos)

Ed played songs of his newest album as well as a couple of his first and second one. In the slower songs, the complete stadium was full of lights that came from the people’s phones: it was magical.

He gave everything on the stage (as usual), which made the experience unforgettable.
